As an Insurance Intermediary, the company maintains work contracts directly with insurance companies or through insurance and reinsurance brokers. The cooperations of PK INSURANCE BROKERS INSURANCE BROKING SINGLE MEMBER P.C., whether directly or through insurance and/or reinsurance brokers, are with the following insurance undertakings:

The insurance intermediation services provided by the company consist of advising the prospective client, based on the needs analysis carried out before the conclusion of insurance, taking into account the data declared by the client when completing the needs form. The company's remuneration for insurance intermediation consists of a commission included in the premium and is paid by the cooperating insurance undertakings and/or through a written agreement with the client.
C. Further information about the insurance intermediary
- The company holds no participation (direct or indirect) exceeding 10% of the voting rights or share capital of any insurance undertaking.
- No specific insurance undertaking or its parent holds a participation (direct or indirect) exceeding 10% of the voting rights or share capital of the company that carries out insurance intermediation activities.
- The company's cooperation with one or more insurance companies is NOT exclusive, and we provide advice based on an impartial analysis.
- The company is able to distribute insurance-based investment products.
- The company always acts with integrity, impartiality and professionalism, provides correct, complete, adequate and appropriate pre-contractual information to recipients of insurance products, and acts with a view to the best possible service of the interests of its clients.
- The company carries out the distribution of insurance products on the basis of an impartial and personal analysis — i.e. it recommends to the client the appropriate insurance product following an analysis of a sufficient number of insurance contracts and products available on the market, without being bound as to the choice of insurance undertaking. It receives a commission from the insurance undertakings with which it places the insurance risk on the client's instructions, and/or remuneration from the client under a written agreement. In all cases it operates in a manner that prevents its legal and economic dependence on the insurance undertakings.
D. Rights of withdrawal and objection
D.1. The policyholder retains the right to object to the conclusion of the insurance contract under the provisions of Article 2 par. 5 and 6 of Law 2496/1997: within an exclusive deadline of one (1) month from the date of delivery of the policy, if they find that any provision of the contract deviates from the insurance application; and within a deadline of fourteen (14) days from delivery of the policy, in the event of failure to disclose the prescribed information or the general/specific terms of the contract, as provided by law.
D.2. The policyholder / consumer retains the right to withdraw from the insurance contract, without penalty and without giving a reason, under Article 4i par. 5 of Law 2251/1994, in the case of a distance contract, within an exclusive deadline of fourteen (14) calendar days. This deadline is extended to thirty (30) days for distance contracts concerning life insurance and pension insurance. The right of withdrawal does not apply to travel and luggage policies or similar short-term policies of less than one (1) month's duration.
D.3. Declarations of objection and withdrawal are made in writing and delivered and/or sent to the insurance undertaking providing the insurance product or to the insurance intermediary.
D.4. If the insured lawfully exercises any of the rights of objection and withdrawal provided for, the insurance contract is cancelled from the outset, and the premiums paid are returned within thirty (30) calendar days, with no penalty for the consumer.
D.5. The right of objection or withdrawal cannot be exercised if a claim has been declared for an insured risk that has occurred, or relevant compensation has been paid. In particular for the compulsory motor third-party liability cover, the specific provisions of Presidential Decree 237/1986 apply.
E. Complaints handling
E.1. The insurance intermediary maintains a complaints handling system (written complaints / statements of dissatisfaction), in accordance with national legislation, Law 4583/2018 and Act No. 89/5.4.2016 of the Executive Committee of the Bank of Greece. See in detail the Complaints Handling Policy.
E.2. The client – consumer may submit questions or any complaints in writing, addressing the insurance intermediary by letter or email. The exercise of this right does not limit the client's rights to seek judicial protection.
F. Complaints – Out-of-court dispute resolution
Insured persons, contracting parties, beneficiaries, consumer associations and any interested party may submit a written complaint against the insurance intermediary to the Department of Private Insurance Supervision of the Bank of Greece, for acts or omissions that constitute breaches of applicable legislation. The following out-of-court dispute resolution mechanisms are available:
- Department of Private Insurance Supervision (DEIA) of the Bank of Greece.
- The Consumer Ombudsman.
- Consumer Protection Department of the General Secretariat for Consumer Affairs of the Ministry of Development.
- The Committees for the Amicable Settlement of Consumer Disputes.
