Company Policy

Business Ethics, Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Policy.

The constant orientation of P|K Insurance is:

  • the continuous improvement of the effectiveness of its processes, always guided by the ongoing satisfaction of its clients' needs and expectations to the greatest possible extent;
  • the prevention of accidents and occupational illnesses;
  • the optimal management of the environmental impacts arising from its operation, with particular focus on reducing its energy consumption and the generation of greenhouse gases;
  • the prevention of pollution and the limitation of environmental burden and degradation in general;
  • the promotion of the principle of sustainability across all of its activities; and of course
  • the promotion of the health & safety of its employees.

The policy of P|K Insurance consists of:

1. Pursuing high levels of performance in quality matters as an integral part of the company's management.

2. Pursuing high levels of performance in environmental & energy management as an integral part of the company's management.

3. Pursuing high levels of performance in occupational health & safety as an integral part of the company's management.

4. Taking care to factor quality principles, environmental & energy parameters and health & safety parameters into decisions on broader matters.

5. Full and non-negotiable compliance with legislation, contractual requirements and the requirements relating to quality, the environment & energy, and occupational health & safety. For P|K Insurance, the safety, health and well-being of third parties and society are of the utmost importance.

In particular, P|K Insurance ensures:

  • To respect and safeguard the prescribed handling of sensitive or confidential information & data concerning itself, partners or interested third parties.
  • To ensure compliance with all European and Greek laws, regulations or directives and to promote transparency, security and environmental & energy awareness across all of its activities. To engage with respect for the personality of every individual, regardless of race, religious beliefs, gender, sexual orientation, family status, disability, age or national origin.
  • To promote its professional reputation based on the quality of the insurance products it distributes and its advisory services and its responsible social conduct — and not through unfair competition.
  • That no consideration of any kind aimed at improper favour and handling is accepted.
  • That no wrongdoing or irregularity is tolerated under any circumstances.
  • To operate and act always ethically, safeguarding the interests of the company, its partners and interested third parties.

In every case where non-compliance with legislation, contractual requirements or the established code of conduct is identified, P|K Insurance ensures that the necessary corrective actions are taken and implemented immediately.

6. Developing a system & procedures that ensure the high requirements set for the individual tasks of distributing insurance products and providing insurance advice, as well as the recognition and satisfaction of the requirements and needs of partners and interested third parties, at both national and international level. Specifically:

  • Adequate and effective facilities for creating a safe working environment, while mitigating environmental burden and the consumption of energy resources.
  • Adequate information, instructions, training and supervision by capable persons for creating safe and environmentally & energy-conscious working conditions.
  • Promoting a culture of recognising and managing business, environmental, occupational and road-safety risks, energy-intensive practices and opportunities.
  • Creating and monitoring corporate performance indicators, including statistical analysis, performance measurement, annual targets for quality, the environment & energy and occupational health & safety, continuous training of staff, and internal audits.

The General Manager has overall responsibility for this policy, and every member of staff is responsible for its application and promotion. P|K Insurance will provide all the resources required to implement this policy and will support the active participation and initiative of its staff. Management promotes among all its staff their active and creative participation and the faithful application of all the procedures & processes referred to in the management system.
